The RSGB are Sponsoring a Region 2 Award for affiliated clubs and societies
The RSGB are Sponsering an award for all affiliated clubs and societies in our region . the winner will go on to take part in a Grand Final with all the other regions more details will be added as I get them! The rules are posted below.
REGION 2 AWARD
The RSGB region2 club of the year award is an initiative that is being run by the RSGB region 2 regional team to promote amateur radio.This will take place annually
What does it involve? Your RSGB Regional team are looking for RSGB affiliated clubs, groups, societies, Raynet or a repeater group within the region, to contact us and tell us why you think your group should pick up the award. Could it be that your club does well on training for the RCF exams? Does your group excel in special event stations or contesting? Public relations? Charitable events? Have you started a new club? Could it be all of these and more? What has your group been up to since the 1ST of January 2010? We want to know.
What the judges are looking for is a club / group worthy of the Region 2 club of the year trophy to be awarded. The winner will go on to compete in a grand final sponsered by the RSGB.

The winning entry will recieve a Trophy Sponsored by Jaycees Electronics.

Rules.
Terms and Conditions.
(1). The award is open to any RSGB affiliated group, club or society in RSGB Region 2.
(2). The award is not open to individual radio amateurs.
(3). All entries must be made electronically, in Microsoft Word in no more than 600 words.
(4). A maximum of three photographs per entry in support may also be sent.
(5). Only one entry per RSGB affiliated group is allowed.
(6). Only one award will be issued.
(7). The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
(8).The RSGB may use and publish photographs and any information sent by entrants regarding the award.
(9).Closing date for entries is midnight 31st. December 2010.
(10). On entering you agree to the above terms and conditions.
